From the US and from Paris
By plane US to Paris Charles de Gaulle. One hour flight from Paris to the Merignac-Bordeaux airport where all car rental agencies are available.Two hour drive to La Millasserie
OR by train: TGV from Paris Montparnasse or CDG to Bordeaux, 2 hour drive from Bordeaux to La Millasserie. . OR: change trains at Bordeaux for Bergerac and a twenty minute drive from there to La Millasserie.
From the UK
By plane from several airports (London-Stanstead, London-Luton, London-Gatwick and more) which connect with daily flights on Ryanair and Flybe to nearby Bergerac airport, twenty-five minutes from La Millasserie. And also flights from Netherlands and Ireland to Bergerac.
Driving Directions
From Bordeaux
Route D936 direction Bergerac.
From Bergerac D 660 direction Lalinde and Sarlat
Pass through Cryesse, Mouleydier, Tulieres, Saint Capraise, Port de Couze. Make no turns. At Port de Couze continue straight on; do not cross the bridge and contniue to Lalinde. The route has become D703.
At Lalinde do not cross the bridge. Ppass the church on your right and then the Intermarche on your left. Stay on D703. The road makes a sharp left bend barely 1 Km after Lalinde and you will cross the RR track. In another Km pass through Sauveboeuf.
After Sauveboeuf continue for about 7 KMs. Do not turn off the road. DO NOT GO TO THE VILLAGE OF MAUZAC. Stay on D703 You will be prepared for our road by several S curve signs and by an X intersection sign and then our road which is on the right and appears quite suddenly around a sharp turn. It is marked by three white signs, the top one saying La Millasserie. Turn right and continue for a short distance; we are the first and only house on the left. Pull into the parking; walk through the gate and across the courtyard and knock at the door of the main house.
From Perigueux—D 710 to Le Bugue From Le Bugue D703 direction Pezul/ Lalinde. Continue 8-10Km or so, pass through Pezuls. Continue on 703. In about 4 kms you will come to a right turn for Grand Castang. DO NOT TURN. Immediately after within a few feet is our road to the left. La Millasserie first house on the left.
